OUR MISSION
While our ministry is expressly urban and centered in the African American experience, we believe that God is the Father of all of His human creation and that Love has “no color”. And since the salvation of God is not color specific; our ministry welcomes brothers and sisters of every racial and ethnic (cultural) group. All people who desire “New Life” in Christ Jesus and who will be inspired actors with us on this magnificent, wondrous, vicissitude filled pilgrim journey are welcome. With God on our side we believe we will be victorious as we move prayerfully, with trembling and fear into a 21st century urban ministry.
OUR VISION
Jesus said for us to do “greater works”, in the spiritual vineyard than He did. We believe He said this as a condition of our growth in the spiritual body. It means that we must, “work while it is still day”. Time is short, and our LORD is soon to come. With what time we have left, we must seize the time in “greater works” activity. If the LORD tarries, it is our vision for The New Life Church to win a million plus souls for Christ as a testament to Christ’s challenging call to do greater works in these end times.
OUR VALUES
Our mission and vision are simplistic, sacrificial, incredible, and some would say impossible. We say, “We can do all things through Christ which strengthens us”. We say, “The Lord will supply all of our needs according to his riches in glory. We say, “We are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation, for everyone that believes”… We say, “the Lord is our light and salvation, whom shall we fear, He is the strength of our lives, of whom shall we be afraid.
